MAX HIKM
Max Hikm is a visual artist born in Ukraine and currently based in the Netherlands. His artistic path began in the early 2000s with graffiti and street art, gradually evolving into a more personal practice focused on expressive figurative painting.
Working between abstraction and figuration, Max explores emotional and psychological states, vulnerability, transformation and the tension between inner experience and external reality. His work often uses fragmented bodies, simplified forms and intense colour as ways to approach memory, identity and human presence.
His practice has been shaped by years of participation in street art, exhibitions, public art projects and visual festivals across Ukraine and Europe.
